01 / OWNER SOVEREIGNTY
A map of your life.
Not a command over it.
The author offers an interpretation of your history, decisions and recurring patterns. This can be deeply useful. It can also be incomplete, mistaken or simply not right for your experience. The finished book does not decide who you are or what you must do.
We can show the door.
Only you decide whether to walk through it.
Your autonomy does not disappear when you invest in the work. You may question its conclusions, choose what to use, decline a recommendation, or seek another professional perspective. The work is designed to inform judgment rather than replace it.
02 / CONFIDENTIAL INTAKE THRESHOLD
No intimate history
in a public form.
Initial inquiries on our website use ordinary Webflow forms and are intended for brief contact information. Do not put the material of your Book of You into them. Detailed private intake may include written reflections, personal records, interviews and other information the owner voluntarily agrees to provide—but only after an appropriate confidential intake process has been agreed.
NOT YET AN APPROVED SENSITIVE-INTAKE CHANNELThis page does not provide an encrypted questionnaire, a secure upload vault, or a completed data-processing agreement. Until those safeguards, permissions and vendor details are documented and verified, the first step remains a short inquiry and a fit conversation.
We must clarify what information is necessary, who receives it, how it is transferred, how long copies remain, what may be deleted, and how a client can ask for correction or removal. The signed agreement and privacy disclosures will provide the specific details for the actual tools used.
03 / TWO PEOPLE, TWO SETS OF RIGHTS
Love shared.
Agency retained.
The Couples Edition involves two individuals, not one collective subject. One partner's participation does not permit the other to read their questionnaire, interview notes or individual Book of You. Each person decides what private material may enter the jointly considered Book of Us.
- Each partner participates voluntarily and receives distinct individual scope and disclosure boundaries.
- The shared companion must have an agreed purpose, format, content boundary and permission process before production.
- No partner may secretly submit another's records or demand a copy of the other's private work as a condition of purchase.
- Material either person declines to share does not automatically become available to the other through the shared engagement.
If consent or safety concerns make a shared book inappropriate, the shared component may need to be restricted or discontinued as described in the final agreement.
04 / PEOPLE, TOOLS AND PROVIDERS
Know who—or what—
touches your story.
Before private intake, we must disclose the actual services and access involved in questionnaires, recording, transcription, storage, writing, editorial support, proofs, communication, payment, printing and shipping. Their data practices can differ, and some information may be processed by third parties.
We do not ask clients to assume that third-party services retain no information, or that every document is end-to-end encrypted. The written engagement must accurately identify the actual tools and providers that handle confidential material, their functions and relevant limitations, and the terms governing informed consent. No sensitive private intake should begin before that information has been provided and accepted.
The exact security architecture, vendor roster, retention limits and deletion process are still launch requirements, not accomplished protections. See Privacy & Confidentiality for the current public notice.
05 / THE PHYSICAL AND DIGITAL BOOK
A finished book is
still sensitive.
A printed hardcover can be lost, photographed, shared, misdelivered or discovered by someone in the household. Digital working drafts or proofs may also survive in accounts, devices, inboxes and backups.
The engagement agreement must explain the deliverables, revisions, proof approval, printer and shipping handling, address verification, digital-copy availability, ownership and intellectual-property rights, allowed sharing, and how working files are retained or removed. Paying for a copy does not, by itself, define every copyright or redistribution right.
We will not publicly publish excerpts, recognizable case studies, personal insights or testimonials from a private commission without distinct permission from the individuals affected.
06 / PRICE, PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION
A clear price deserves
clear conditions.
The presently described prices are $3,000 for an individual Book of You engagement and $5,000 for the Couples Edition. These figures describe the current offer, not an unconditional instant-purchase contract.
Before accepting payment, a written proposal or agreement must disclose payment timing, deposits if any, installment options if offered, what starts the work, changes to scope, cancellation rights, refunds or nonrefundable work already performed, what happens if a partner withdraws, and how delays or disputes are handled.
Those financial provisions are not finalized on this page. No one should infer an automatic refund, a nonrefundable deposit, a fixed turnaround guarantee, or a right to cancel without consequence from the absence of a term. Ask for the written agreement and clarification before paying.
07 / SUPPORT AND DELIVERY CONVERSATIONS
Clarity also includes
what happens afterward.
The Book of You offer currently describes two included individual delivery conversations and 90 days of email support. The Couples Edition currently describes two such conversations per partner and 90 days of email support for each partner.
The agreement must clarify the purpose, duration and scheduling of conversations, when the support period starts, expected reply windows, permitted support topics, changes to appointments, and whether work outside scope or beyond the period is charged separately. Neither a response-time guarantee nor unlimited access is implied until explicitly agreed.
08 / REFLECTION, NOT MEDICAL CARE
Deep understanding
is not omniscience.
Deep System Decode is reflective authorship and personal-systems mapping. It is not psychotherapy, medical diagnosis, couples therapy, legal advice or a promise of a particular personal, relationship or business outcome.
Our work may identify possible patterns, but interpretations are fallible and do not replace the client's own judgment or appropriately qualified professional help. Clients should not rely on a Book of You as a substitute for urgent medical, mental health, legal or safety assistance.
Clients remain responsible for their decisions. This principle is not a waiver of a provider's legal responsibilities or a blanket excuse for negligence; the actual allocation of contractual responsibilities requires a proper written agreement.
09 / BEFORE WE ACCEPT AN ENGAGEMENT
What must be
known and agreed.
- Identity of the contracting parties; the edition selected and accepted deliverables
- Actual project scope, payment, scheduling, amendment, cancellation and refund terms
- Approved private-intake method, data minimization and safeguards for sensitive records
- Actual third-party processors, editorial methods, permissions and informed consent
- Access, confidentiality, sharing and separate couples' information boundaries
- Book proof, printing, delivery, copyright, owner-sharing and sample-use permissions
- Retention, backup, deletion and privacy-request procedures, with realistic limitations
- Support scope, response expectations, disclaimers and dispute procedures
STATUS / PRE-ENROLLMENTThese are the required decision points. The corresponding agreements, technical safeguards and workflows still need to be completed and verified. We should not collect intimate private histories or represent a confidential intake pipeline as operational until that work passes its launch checks.
Questions or concerns? Ask before sharing anything sensitive. We would rather make an honest limitation clear before an engagement than discover a broken expectation after trust has been extended.
